I started working on the metal pieces.
![]() Now, I am having a bit of problem in terms of how I approach painting the brass texture. (The metal parts are intended to be brass). I could wuss out of it and make it some other metal, but I think I should push myself a bit. ![]() So, here is some brass texture study: ![]() Any suggestions, pointers, critique at this point is welcome.

![]() And then, I am trying to apply the brass study I did earlier on this shoulder armor: ![]() It is a bit saturated than the body - I will be reducing the levels a bit later when I apply highlights and render the skin/hide.
