Did a bit of rendering on the face.



This is just rendering of the general shape. I have not yet put in the effect of the primary light yet.

I started working on the metal pieces.



Now, I am having a bit of problem in terms of how I approach painting the brass texture. (The metal parts are intended to be brass).

I could wuss out of it and make it some other metal, but I think I should push myself a bit.

So, here is some brass texture study:



Any suggestions, pointers, critique at this point is welcome.

And then, I am trying to apply the brass study I did earlier on this shoulder armor:



It is a bit saturated than the body - I will be reducing the levels a bit later when I apply highlights and render the skin/hide.
