This is for the Shiny or Wet Leaf Workshop.

Trying to do some thumnailing:


Settled on one and started planning:

Hardware - Wacom Intuos3

i must admit, I have not yet got to start on mine. Its not that I'm not intend to do so, but i got a real pain in my wrist from drawing with the mouse. Iv been working with computers for many years and played around with them since the C64 was hot. But never have i got this "mouse illness" that everyone speaks off, until i started painting with the mouse.

So i think there will be less drawing before i can afford the tablet I'm aiming for. I do sketch pencil and paper tho for practicing.

Looking forward to see more of the progress here Vyoma, seems like you have a good start for that yellow leaf reference you linked.

Looks alot like the one done by Digitalblasphamy, An excellent pic by anyones standards, and definitely within my top 5 as far as inspirational works of art.

Anyway, I was able to work on it a bit more.



I know, I know. I worked on the background more than the subject of this workshop. But it did give me a bit of practice.
