Job Offers - Guidelines

As with other sections of CGPainting.com, please adhere to the Rules and Guidelines.

Here are some guidelines that would help you find the right artist, and also help the artist with the information they need to make the decision.

• Type of job/employment: Detail on the type of project for which you want to seek an artist. Explain all the skills that would be required (concept artwork, sketcing, illustrating, rendering) and also the genre/background of the project. Not all artists can do everything or would wish to pursue a particular specialization. Giving this details saves time for both you and the artists.
  
• Pricing/Compensation: Be very specific on the compensation that the artist would be receiving. If you will not be paying any compensation, then state so clearly. Details on the payment schedule - before project starts, part before and part after the project, or in installments. If you have a budjet and would like to get bids from the artists, then give the range. State on how you would be making the payments - cheques, bank transfers, PayPal. When a pricing is not mentioned, it would be assumed that you are asking for a job to be done for free.
  
• Deadlines and Offer closure: State the date on which your offer/project ends. Also, make a note when you find an artist for your job. This would help the moderators lock the thread so that the members do not waste time on expired offers.
  
• Contact: Let the artists know how you may be contacted. You may offer to be contacted through CGPainting.com's Private Messaging (PM) system if you do not want to leave other contact information.
