I can say about two were with Painter, one was with Photoshop (not by choice..), and the rest are GIMP.

Wow. :) I have to agree with Dreleen on the forth one, Steve. Amazing lighting. It also displays how you have got nice hold over the color balance between warm and cool palettes.

The last one is great too for its composition. I really find it hard to render things when the main light source is behind the subject. :)

Thanks guys! The 4th and Last one are possibly my favorites.

Last one was my present to a friend, so I had some sort of motive for making it.
The 4th one came randomly about looking inwards a courtyard.

Motive or not - they are all nice works of art. It seems like you are already developing a style of your own in terms of color palette.
