Spammers Ahoy Once More?

Vy, it looks like we need cleaning up.

How is it they come here even though we're not related to World of Warcraft at all?

Forum spammers is a big hassle for forums. Only thing to do is to delete the posts as they arrive or put in many word filters to stop posts. And name filters to stop people from registering with meaningless names.

I have not given up yet. ;) I am off to clean them off. Thanks for the heads up. Let me know if I miss any and you see some tomorrow.

Edit #1: Ok - I just think I cleaned them all out in terms of posts that are out there. Going to review any suspicious looking users. Let me know if I missed any spam posts.

Edit #2: Finished reviewing the user list. All suspicious looking names (gibberish, usually), and ones with spam in their signatures have been booted out.

Seeing as the activity is currently, I don't mind doing it manually. But if this grows any more, I sure have to think of integrating Akismet or some other solution.
