So far as the tutorial, probably the most minimal of my comments would be that it's a huge filesize for my 1280x900 laptop monitor. The process is just about right, that's typically how I would work too. But I feel like people will become confused by the meaning of "blend", and start using the blend tool on Photoshop.

Yup - it is a pretty laggy format for a tutorial. I would have clipped it out and hosted it on my site, but I do not want to violate the artist's copyrights. :)
