Art/composition: In terms of the character design, it calls for something more elaborate on the wings. See it you can add some more wingspan to it - that would make it amazing.

Technique: Amazing. I like the approach, and am still trying to figure out, how you achieved the second image from the first.

davincio, coudl you please elaborate a bit more on your work process and layer configurations? Do you keep the line art separate? Do you keep the value (light and dark) shading on the line art layer, or again, separate it? How do you apply the color blocking? I think myself and the other members could learn quite a bit from it.

it's something i did with expand and contract and that gave the nice shadowy effect, i keep the line art seperate from the colors and the shading, the shading is a layer that i expanded with 5 px and then contracted with 5 pixels with a 50 % ocapacity and something more i have got no cleu how it worked out but i liked the effect ill give a reply ltr on to fill in this empty spot, more on this metal hawk soon

Cool. Have a nice sleep and take good rest. :) There is nothing like a fatigued mind when it comes to killing the creative mind.
