Im original and Linux Slackware user, but after i stoped working in the business and spent most of my programing time on a Persistent RP PW for Neverwinter Night 1, i have found my self sadly migrating more and more over to windows. This because the toolset for NWN1 dont work in the linux version of NWN1.
There are so many things that iritate me about windows, but ill keep to this one thing in this post. Gimp for windows is nothing like Gimp for linux.
Take this example.
You have zoomed in on your canvas in windows, and need to change color on your brush. You change to the pallet and pick your color, then back to your canvas to start painting. Only to notice, no paint is painted. Why ? Becuase even tho your mouse and brush tool is over the image right where you want it, the actual window is not highlighted, you have to click the frame of the image window to get hige lighted. Often most of that frame is behind other windows, and you cant click in the middle of the window because you dont want to mess upp the image with a brush stroke.... (Or you can, but then you need to remember to do a CTRL+Z)
Why cant windows have "focuse follow mouse" ? like linux have ? Or do it ? Im no windows expert, if you know it have please tell me how.
/rant over.
