Martin McKenna was born in London in 1969. He is a freelance illustrator with a successful 15-year career. He has illustrated numerous titles on both sides of the Atlantic for Penguin Books, Oxford University Press, Harper Collins, and Hodder & Stoughton, among others. He also has a long association with the games industry, working with Games Workshop, Hasbro, Parker Games, Wizards of the Coast, and Palladium Books.

Have a look at Martin McKenna's artwork's at his site (http://www.martinmckenna.net). Especially, the digital artwork in his gallery (http://www.martinmckenna.net/gallery.htm) shows some of his amazing works.

He seems to create works in the fantasy genre. The use of vibrant colors, and focus on details, show in all his works.

Thats so depressing. I love his work. I wish i will ever be as good.

Yup. That should be the attitude. :)

It is natural to get a bit dissapointed looking at works of experts, but it should be a reason to keep practicing and get better at it.

hehe well its quite simpel.

Allot of work ive seen is impressive wich makes me feel bad thus being depressive for me aswell.
And theres really allot that does that to me :x
