This month, Wacom is releasing a “sketchbook” version (http://www.wacom.eu/index2.asp?lang=en&pid=96) of the critically-acclaimed Cintiq drawing tablet. Cintiqs are tablets with built-in LCD screens so you can draw on them directly. This new 12WX model is only 26cm x 16cm and a full 8 kilograms lighter than it’s big-sister, the 21UX (http://www.wacom.eu/index2.asp?lang=en&pid=95). In short, the new Cintiq is a lot more portable.

Seems like they are presently releasing it only in Europe. Like the earlier model, this one too would put a heavy dent on your wallet. :P

God I would love to have something like that I could carry around in school. Draw right in the middle of class and make it seem like I'm doing my work.

Though it probably won't have as many gigabytes as it would a desktop, so I'm fine with my current Intuos3. Photoshop/GIMP files can get huge.
